It isn’t a dumb question at all! This dessert can definitely be served cold the next day or warmed back up. Kind of like a cherry pie or other similar desserts. Some folks prefer it freshly cooked, while others enjoy it either way. Hope that helps!

The paper towels catch any condensation that might drop from the lid before it can hit the ingredients below. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!

That is what I would do. The original recipe is too small for a 6 quart crock. You will be glad you have extra though! This is yummy!
