Cris here.

We have been grilling out a lot lately and I am constantly looking for easy sides to go with our favorite grilled chicken. This Crock Pot Parmesan Broccoli Cauliflower is perfect for those days. I can throw everything in the slow cooker for this yummy side and it can be cooking while I marinade my chicken. Then, when my chicken is done, a great side dish is ready for dinner at the same time! Recipes like this are one of the reasons I love making side dishes in my slow cooker. I love it when the crock pot can simplify my sides for me.

Oh my goodness wha5 a huge hit for zero work!. I tried this tonight to go along with grilled burgers and sausages. I used frozen broccoli and cauliflower along with onion and red pepper because I had some already cut up that needed using. Was in a hurry so I just used garlic salt with parsley for seasoning and the butter, no Parmesan in the house today.

My neighbors raved over this recipe and the veggie allergic (lol) hubby begged to take home the rest along with the recipe. Thanks so much. Would never have done veggies in crockpot before but it’s so hot in Florida in the summer.

I haven’t tested it, but you should be able to. I would probably add 1/4 cup of broth to the bottom of the crock before adding everything else and keep a close eye on it because cooking times may be different. Let me know how it goes!

Yep! I would just chop them pretty finely so they cook up as fast as the broccoli and cauliflower.
