Now I know many folks don’t like the added step of browning their meat or dirtying another dish, so we are going to spend the week talking about ways to save time and still enjoy all of these yummy recipes!
This week we are going to explore great slow cooker recipes from my friends at Gooseberry Patch and their Slow-Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets Cookbook while trying out Hamilton Beach’s Stovetop Slow Cooker and their Programmable Insulated Slow Cooker— both of which they sent me to test out in my kitchen.
And a testin’ I did! I now have all kinds of yummy sizzlin’ recipes to share with you this week!
Later today we will share this delicious Slow Cooker Beef Tips & Gravy recipe. Can you say comfort food?
Tuesday will be all about this super yummy Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup!
On Wednesday we will be taking a slow cooker favorite and adding a little sizzle after the crock to give you THE best slow cooker roasted chicken you have ever had!
On Thursday, we will be sharing these fall-off-the-bone Sweet Saucy Ribs. Yum!
On Friday we will enjoy an Autumn Apple Pork Roast.
Last but not least, on Saturday we are going to share this family favorite Slow Cooker Beefy Mac and Cheese.

Boneless Chicken Breast with Black Beans! Just made it Friday? The great thing is that you can use just about any kind of beans. Slice some onion, add your breasts, sprinkle with taco seasoning, pour frozen corn over top,, add 1 jar salsa, then top with your beans. Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 4-6 hours? YUM!
