Do you love BW3 (Buffalo Wild Wings) as much as we do? Check out our Crock Pot Chicken Wings - BW3 Copycat recipe that holds us over until the next time we get to visit our favorite wing restaurant.
Place wings frozen in a 6 quart slow cooker and top with butter.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low 6-7 hours.
Place wings on a lined cookie sheet or bacon pan and broil on each side until crisp.
Toss in desired seasonings and serve with ranch dressing.
Notes
If you want to double the amount of wings, just double the meat. No need to double the butter. You may need to add cooking time.
The drippings left in the crock after cooking would be a great flavorful chicken soup base.
The texture of these wings will be different than you get at the restaurant. The result is super tender wings with crisp skin that you can then toss in your favorite flavors. (Note: If you want the same texture as Buffalo Wild Wings, we highly recommend an air fryer -recipe coming soon.)
One of the tricks to a good BW3 wing is to always add the seasonings after cooking. Just cook them up and THEN toss in your wet or dry seasoning. We buy our seasonings and sauces directly from the restaurant.
If you don't happen to have a local restaurant that sells the seasonings, you can always grab your favorite grocery store sauce or seasonings.
As with any of our recipes, carb counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
