Pour your melted butter in the bottom of a 6 quart slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix together your milk, sugar, flour and baking powder.
Pour your mixture into your slow cooker, without stirring into the butter.
Take a spoon and evenly distribute spoonfuls of your cherry pie filling across the top of everything. (Do not stir into everything else in your crock pot.)
Sprinkle your brown sugar evenly across the top.
Place a few paper towels tightly under your lid, cover and cook on high for 1.5-2 hours. (Turn your insert halfway through cooking if your unit does not cook evenly.) It is done when the middle is set.
