Using a mixer, mix together your cream cheese, pepperoncini juice, brown gravy mix and ranch dressing mix until smooth.
Add your browned and drained ground beef to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
Spread your ground beef mixture out evenly in the bottom of a lightly greased casserole crock pot or 6 quart crock pot.
Place your butter pats evenly across the top of the beef mixture.
Spread your tater tots out over everything and place pepperonicinis evenly across top of the tater tots.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker doesn't cook evenly.
If browned tots are desired and your insert is broiler safe, broil on high for 3-4 minutes. (Do NOT walk away while your insert is in the broiler. Watch it constantly so that you do not burn your tater tots. They can go from perfectly golden to burnt quickly.)
