This Bacon Green Beans and Potatoes recipe takes one of our favorite crock pot recipes and gives you the option of making it on your stove top. It is so yummy!
Place all of your ingredients in a large sauce pan and stir until well combined.
Cover with lid and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. It is done when the potatoes are fork tender.
Notes
If you haven't ever used bacon in a recipe like this, you will want to note that it will not look the same as when you fry bacon. It won't crisp up and get really dark in color like it does when you fry it. It will be soft and pink, but after cooking on the stove top for as long as it takes for your potatoes to soften up, it is indeed cooked. It just looks different than when fried.

All stove tops cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own stove top and time adjusted as needed.
