18.4ozbrownie mixprepared, (Do not use a fudge brownie mix. With a fudge brownie mix, the sides will most likely burn before the center is set.)
4cupspretzels
14ozCan Sweetened Condensed Milk
Whipped cream, additional pretzels for toppingoptional
Instructions
Take your pretzel twists, put them in a gallon size baggie and break into pieces.
Spread out your pretzels in a lightly greased 6 quart crock pot or casserole crock pot.
Gently pour your sweetened condensed milk evenly over your pretzels, using a stirring spatula to get last of it out of the can.
Pour your brownie mix evenly over everything.
Take a few paper towels or a flour sack towel and place it tightly under the lid. You want to make sure it is tight enough that the center will not touch the batter.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if you slow cooker does not cook evenly.
Serve on its own or topped with whipped cream and/or additional broken pretzels.
Notes
Be sure to use a slow cooker that you know does not cook hot. If it cooks hot, the edges will burn before the middle is completely baked.
Cut your brownies while they are warm and put leftovers in an air tight container.

All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
