18.5ozmilk chocolate brownie mixprepared (Do not use a fudge brownie mix.)
3/4cupsmooth peanut butter
Instructions
Pour your prepared brownie mix batter in a lightly greased casserole crock pot or 6 quart slow cooker.
Use a spoon to put dollops of peanut butter evenly across the top of the batter.
Take a butter knife and swirl the peanut butter throughout your brownie batter.
Take a tea towel or paper towels and put it tightly under your lid on top of the insert, so that the towel does not droop in the middle. If it touches the center, the center will not bake properly.
Bake on high for 2-3 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly. Watch it closely. It is done when the center is set.
Notes
Make sure you use a slow cooker you know does not cook hot. If your slow cooker cooks hot, the sides will burn before the center is able to bake completely.
The cooking time is for two to three hours. My brownies were done right around 2 hours and 10 minutes. Watch it closely the first time you make it so you don’t burn the edges.

As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
