In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook your ground beef, Italian sausage and chopped onion and drain.
While your meat mixture is cooking, in an extra large pot, cook your ziti to just al dente, drain and return to the extra large pot.
Add your tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, seasonings, ricotta cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to your pot of cooked and drained ziti and stir until well combined.
Stir your beef mixture into your pasta mixture until well combined.
Spoon your mixture into a lightly greased 6 quart slow cooker and spread it out evenly.
Top everything with your remaining shredded mozzarella and your shredded parmesan.
Cover and cook on low for 2.5-3 hours or on high for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1.5 hours, until your mozzarella has melted.

As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
