Fill a large pot with water, place on your stovetop and bring to a boil
Throw in your bouillon cubes, potatoes and onion
Boil for approximately 10 minutes, until potatoes are fork tender, and drain (Be sure to not leave them on too long if you want your potatoes to stay in nice big slices)
Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or high for 1 hour
Stir gently before serving
