Ingredients

  • 20 oz Can of Crushed Pineapple- Well Drained
  • 2 21 oz Cans of Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 Box of White Cake Mix- Dry
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter- Sliced Thinly
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans

Instructions

  • Layer the pineapple then cherries then cake mix (dry not prepared) in your slow cooker.
  • Top with butter and then pecans.
  • Cover with the lid and cook on high for 3-4 hours or until cake is set

  • This recipe was perfect for my upcoming get-together with some of my girlfriends. It fit perfectly into one of the 2.5 qt crocks in my 3-Pot Buffet Slow Cooker. I whipped this up in five minutes and then let it cook on high for 3-4 hours and it came out perfect!
  • I also put two other recipes from  101 Blue Ribbon Dessert Recipes in the other crocks (recipes coming soon. Miss Add declared this one her favorite of the three, so you know you are in for a treat! I recommend using a 2.5-3 qt slow cooker for this dish. You could "bake" this up in a larger slow cooker, it will just cook MUCH faster, so make sure you watch it closely.
