Do you love our Meat Lover’s Crock Pot Chili? Then I have a treat for you! If you are in a time pinch, this Meat Lover's Instant Pot Chili is the perfect way to have a delicious meal in a fraction of the time!
3.5CupsBeef Broth depending on how thick or thin you like your chili
28ozCan Whole Tomatoes do not drain
15ozCan Whole Tomatoes do not drain
2Cans White Chili Beans with Sauce do not drain
15ozCan Tomato Sauce

Cook your bacon over medium heat until slightly crisp. Drain grease, reserving 1 Tablespoon and saving the rest for other recipes.
In the same skillet saute your onion and garlic in the 1 T of bacon grease until the onions are translucent .
Meanwhile in a separate skillet, brown sausage and ground beef together until fully cooked and drain.
Combine all ingredients except garnish in your instant pot. (Note: You may want to reserve 1/2 cup of your bacon for garnish).
Run a wooden spoon through the whole tomatoes to break them apart a bit before cooking.
Cook on soup for 15 minutes. Do not allow warming cycle to kick on.
Then use natural release for 15 minutes and switch to quick release.
Garnish with extra bacon, sour cream, cheese, cooked macaroni noodles and/or chopped green onion
When making this recipe, I only had 3 tablespoons of chili powder, so I grabbed my cumin and used 1 tablespoon of it. The flavor was awesome. However, I know the flavor of this recipe is good with only using chili powder as well, so you can choose what you prefer!
We used a 6 quart Instant Pot to make this recipe. Using an electric pressure cooker is a great convenience in the kitchen, but ALWAYS follow your manufacturer’s recommendations for safety.
If using a smaller pot, you may need to reduce the recipe to avoid overflow. If using a larger pot, you may need to add additional liquid.
Also, DO NOT EVER cover the vent of your electric pressure cooker.
