Crock Pot Fire Bird

Place chicken in a 6 quart slow cooker.
Mix remaining ingredients into a paste.
Carefully lift the skin of the chicken and spread half of the paste under the skin to flavor the meat.
Take the rest of the paste and slather the outside of the chicken.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is tender.

If you prefer crisp skin, you can pop your Fire Bird into an oven safe pan and broil to crisp the skin.
