We like to use our browning slow cookers to make this recipe because you can brown the sausage in the same pot that you use to slow cook AND the pots are non-stick which makes clean up a snap. However, you can make this dish in any 6 quart slow cooker and just brown your ground sausage in a skillet on the stove first.
You can serve this as a dip at parties or as a topping for taco salad or taco bar.
