Use your favorite shredded cheese in this dish. We have tried both sharp cheddar and mozzarella with a lot of success. Pepper jack would be another way to switch up this dish.
We like to use our non-stick ninja slow cooker to make this up, but you can use any 6 quart slow cooker. While you probably can use a casserole crock, we prefer traditional slow cookers for this dish for the best texture and density.
This recipe can easily be used to make breakfast burritos! Just cook it up and when it is done, chop it up and serve in a tortilla (or low carb tortilla)! Yum!
Garnish this dish however you want. I use a little more shredded cheese and hot sauce, while Miss Add uses ketchup.
