Combine vanilla and milk in a medium to large pan and start heating over medium high heat.
Slowly whisk cocoa and salt into the milk and vanilla mixture until well combined.
Stir in sweetened condensed milk with whisk until well combined.
Cook uncovered for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently, until completely heated through, but not coming to a boil and remove from heat.
