Thaw your meatballs in the microwave in a large bowl.
Place your meatballs in the bottom of your 6 quart slow cooker or casserole crock pot then cover with tortellini.
Put your pizza sauce in the large bowl you used to thaw your meatballs and stir in your seasonings.
Spread your pizza sauce mixture over the tortellini.
Top with mushrooms, if desired.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over everything and cover with lid.
Cook on high for 90 min to 2 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your crock pot does not cook evenly.
