Place your chicken in a 2.5-4 quart slow cooker (I used Mr. Big, my 4-quart Crock Pot)
Evenly pour your soup over your chicken
Sprinkle your gravy mix all over
Pour in your water
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, use a meat thermometer to make sure you chicken reaches safe cooking temperatures, but doesn't dry out
Serve chicken and gravy over noodles, rice or by themselves
Notes
I made this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts and again with boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Both were delicious! If you are using thighs, it might take a couple more minutes if you trim the fat. If you use breasts, the cooking time will be closer to the 4 hour mark since they are bigger pieces of meat. However, my chicken thighs were perfect right around 3 hours.
I know on the pork gravy packets there was a wide variety of sizes, so if your store doesn't have an .87 oz packages, but has a 1 oz pkg, you'll be fine.
If you need fewer servings, you can make this with only 1 lb of chicken, you will just have lots of extra gravy.
As with any of our recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
