Place half of your beef mixture in the bottom of your lightly greased 6 quart crock pot.
Place half of your pasta on top.
Top with half of your cottage cheese then half of your shredded cheese.
Repeat layers.
Cover and cook on low for 3.5 to 4 hours or high for 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, turning your insert halfway through the cooking time if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
