This Crock Pot Beefy Angel Casserole for Two recipe is an adaptation of one of our tried and true reader favorite recipes for people who only need a couple servings.
18frozen tater totskept frozen (Or how many tater tots equal two servings of your favorite tater tots. For example, there are nine tater tots per serving in the bag I used. So, I used 18 tater tots.)
Instructions
In a medium to large bowl, mix together everything, except your ground beef and tater tots, until well combined.
Add your cooked and drained ground beef to the cream cheese mixture and gently mix until all of your beef is well coated.
Spread out the cream cheese and beef mixture evenly in a lightly greased small 2.5 quart casserole crock pot or 4 quart oval crock pot.
Cover and cook on high for 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
If browned tots are desired and your insert is broiler safe, broil on high for 3-4 minutes. (Do NOT walk away while your insert is in the broiler. Watch it constantly so that you do not burn your tater tots. They can go from perfectly golden to burnt quickly.)

As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
