Ingredients
- 1/2 lbs lean ground beef browned and drained
- 1 tablespoon Butter melted
- 1.5 tablespoons cooking sherry or beef broth
- 3.5 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
- 1/4 cup Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Italian Dressing Mix
- 18 frozen tater tots kept frozen (Or how many tater tots equal two servings of your favorite tater tots. For example, there are nine tater tots per serving in the bag I used. So, I used 18 tater tots.)
Instructions
- In a medium to large bowl, mix together everything, except your ground beef and tater tots, until well combined.
- Add your cooked and drained ground beef to the cream cheese mixture and gently mix until all of your beef is well coated.
- Spread out the cream cheese and beef mixture evenly in a lightly greased small 2.5 quart casserole crock pot or 4 quart oval crock pot.
- Cover and cook on high for 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
- If browned tots are desired and your insert is broiler safe, broil on high for 3-4 minutes. (Do NOT walk away while your insert is in the broiler. Watch it constantly so that you do not burn your tater tots. They can go from perfectly golden to burnt quickly.)
