Mikey Goode is the husband to Cris, the daddy to Miss Add and the brother (in law) to Aunt Lou.
As the front man for Cookin’ Cris’ Dishes on YouTube his passion is to encourage others to face their fears in the kitchen and to prove that if a redneck can cook it, they can to.
A cook, cameraman, handyman, video editor, father and husband by day as well as a musician by night, Mikey’s soul passion is to speak life into people in whatever he does.

After 17 years in the railroad industry, Mikey decided to put down his pocket watch and pick up a spatula and a guitar all the livelong day, creating dishes and tunes to please the masses as well as his new boss, Cris.
Mikey’s passions include cooking, videography, travel and playing music. When not in the kitchen Mikey is hard at work writing and performing original tunes as well as fun cover songs for any audience ready for a GOODe time. He is a huge fan of Chris Stapleton, Eric Clapton, Andrew Zimmern and Alton Brown. You can hear both covers and originals on his other YouTube Channel, The GOODe Life.
When not on the road Mikey lives in Central Indiana with his girls, but can always be found on their fun family channel, As Goode As It Gets.
Mikey grew up in a junkyard and farm in Central Indiana where he learned hard work and home cookin’ go hand in hand and still uses those disciplines today. Not afraid to work, definitely not afraid to eat and always ready to have fun.
