Whether you’ve been told you can’t cook your whole life or you have the knife skills of an Iron Chef, Cris loves to connect you to just the right recipe.
Her site Recipes That Crock is dedicated to helping everyone find delicious recipes to serve their families every month.
After over a decade in communications and publishing experience in the traditional workforce, Cris launched Recipes That Crock in 2013 as an online recipe resource for home cooks. She loves communicating directly with her readers and helping everyone be successful in the kitchen.
Cris lives in central Indiana with her husband Mikey and daughter Miss Add. Together with her sister Aunt Lou, Cris’ family shares recipes, travel and fun on their family YouTube Channel: As Goode As It Gets.
Cris (and Aunt Lou) grew up on a farm in southern Indiana. She met her college sweetheart Mikey at Indiana State and they have built a life together around the family motto of Speak Life. You can hear their whole story on their podcast.
When Cris isn’t working on the website, you will find her with her nose in a good book, traveling the country with Mikey, homeschooling Miss Add, journaling her favorite quotes, cuddling her pups Octavius and Ollivander or being the “tolerated human” for her cat Skiddy.
