3lbsboneless skinless chicken thighs(If you prefer white meat, you can cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into thigh size pieces to keep the cooking time similar.)
Place 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs in the bottom of a 6 Quart Crock Pot.
Pour 1/4 cup melted butter over the chicken.
Evenly sprinkle 1 1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 3 teaspoons minced garlic over the chicken.
Cover and cook 4-6 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high, rotating your insert halfway through the cooking time, if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
