Mix together your cubed chicken, tomatoes, zucchini, soup, vinegar, onion and spices in your 6-quart crock pot (I used my Hamilton Beach Multi-Quart Slow Cooker)
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours
If desired, add in your cheese and sour cream and cook for an additional 15 minutes
Serve over your cooked pasta
Notes
Can I tell you a secret? I forgot to add in the sour cream and cheese when I made this! It is really good without it, but the sour cream and cheese are awesome additions! So whichever way you make it, the flavors pop!
From my two-year-old to my husband, all four of us loved this flavorful recipe. As Michael said, this is a meal most people would pay high dollar for at a restaurant (and you can make it at home for a fraction of the price!).
In a hurry, use chicken tenders so you have less cutting to do!
If you need a longer cook time, you can use chicken breasts and leave them whole until they are done cooking. Once they are cooked, you can cut them into bite size pieces.
As with any of our recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
