This Air Fryer Fried Chicken for Two recipe gives you the perfect fried chicken, and it is super easy to make. You will want to make it again and again!
Beat 1 large Egg Beaten in a bowl and roll 4 Chicken Legs in the beaten egg one at a time.
Pour 1/2 Cup Favorite Breading Mix into a gallon baggie, add chicken, seal and shake to coat.
Add 1 tablespoon Bacon Fat or Lard to the bottom of your air fryer or Ninja Foodi and air fry legs in single layer for 15 min at 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Do NOT stack chicken.
Turn the legs over and cook for an additional 15 more minutes at 360, until the chicken legs reached desired crispness and the internal temperature is at lease 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Notes
Note: Nutritional content does not include breading. That content will depend entirely on the breading you choose to use.
We used chicken legs. You can use other cuts of chicken if you don't like chicken legs, cooking times may vary. Make sure your chicken's internal temperature reaches at least 165. (To reach optimal tenderness, I prefer to cook to at least 170.)
I do NOT recommend stacking your chicken in the basket. A single layer is always best to ensure the chicken cooks evenly.

As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
Finally, all air fryers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own air fryer and time adjusted as needed.
