Put your 2.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs in a 4 Quart Slow Cooker.
Top with 10 oz jar pesto basil, using a small stirring spatula to get it all out of the jar and spread out evenly on top of the chicken.
Pour your 15.25 oz can black beans evenly across everything.
Sprinkle garlic salt to taste across the top.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, rotating your insert halfway through the cooking time if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
Shred chicken with two forks either in your crock pot or in a large bowl. If shredding in a large bowl, add chicken back into the crock pot and stir until everything is mixed well.
Serve your chicken and beans over a bed of Prepared rice with the cooking juices spooned over top.
