This Crock Pot Ham and Beans for Two is such an easy way to have comfort food dinner any time of year, and you do not have to soak the beans overnight!
Rinse 1 cup Dried Northern Beans and be careful to remove pebbles.
Place rinsed and sorted beans in a 2.5, 3 or 4 quart crock pot and add 1 Cup Leftover Ham (cubed), 1 Tablespoon Dried Minced Onion, 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cloves and Salt and Pepper .
Cover in water until water reaches about 2 inches above the beans and stir.
Cook on high for 2 hours, stir and continue cooking on low for an additional 2 hours.
Stir and crush some of the beans to make the dish creamier.
