Place your 2 small Russet Potatoes (peeled and cubed) in the bottom of your 2.5 quart, 3 quart or 4 quart crock pot.
Top with your diced 1 tablespoon yellow onion.
Add your 7 oz smoked sausage (cut into half inch slices), undrained 15 oz green beans and 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/8 teaspoon Pepper and red pepper to taste.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, stirring at least once while cooking, if possible.
