How to Make Sausage Green Beans and Potatoes for Two in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
One of the very first meals that Michael made me when we were dating was the recipe this Crock Pot Sausage Green Beans and Potatoes for Two is based on. Since the original version is one of go-to recipes around here, I thought I would make it into a recipe with only two servings so everyone can enjoy this delicious meal.
When adding in the ground red pepper, I recommend remembering what Momma always taught me. When adding seasonings that aren’t measured, she would always tell me, “You can always add more in later, but you can’t take it out.” So, start with a small amount, give it a stir and a taste, and go from there…especially if you are sensitive to spicy foods (like me).
(If this recipe sounds great to you, but you need more servings, you can find the original recipe here.)
