How to Make Homemade Salsa in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

Cris originally made this Crock Pot Homemade Salsa years ago. (You can find her recipe here.) I have just made a couple small changes. I am guessing you will love both versions of this recipe. It is so easy and yummy.

When you are blending your ingredients together at the end, you will need to do it in batches. The number of batches you will need to do will depend on the size of your blender or food processor. If your food processor or blender is like mine, it will blend the vegetables up very quickly. So, if you want a chunkier salsa, you will only want to blend for a couple seconds before checking the texture. Even with the finer texture I wanted (that you see in the pictures), I only blended it for 5 to 10 seconds before checking on it. Whatever texture you desire, I hope you love it as much as we do!
