How to Make Cheesy Salsa Corn in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I love a good cheesy recipe, don’t you?! This Crock Pot Cheesy Salsa Corn definitely delivers! It is a snap to put together and makes a flavorful, cheesy side dish that all the cheese lovers in your house are sure to love!
If you have a slow cooker that cooks hot, you will want to stir this recipe more often as you would with any cheese recipe. For instance, I have a couple 6 quart slow cookers that cook just about perfectly in the middle, not too hot and not too cool. However, I know my 2 quart crock pot is quite the hot little cooker. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing and can be helpful in some situations, but not when cooking a recipe with cheese. So, I knew going into this recipe that I would need to stir it more frequently than I would if I were cooking it in a different crock pot. It is important to know your slow cooker. If it is a new slow cooker, watch it closely with the first recipes you make so you can get to know it. Hopefully this advice will help you have a cRockin’ success with this recipe and many more!
If you want to try something different, I caught my kiddos digging into this yummy dish with tortilla chips. I decided to give it a try. It was delicious! So, as a side or as a dip, this recipe is delicious!
