How to Make Pie Bites in a Ninja Foodi or Air Fryer

This Ninja Foodi Pie Bites recipes uses the air crisp function to make these delicious personal size desserts. (You can also make these in a 7 quart air fryer.) Not only are these delicious pie bites personal size, they can be personalized. Do you have a person who loves apple pie in your house and another who loves peach pie and another who loves cherry? Now you can satisfy everyone’s cravings with one recipe!
With 24 of these yummy bites, these are great to make when you need to bring something to a potluck. However, with how quick and easy these are to whip up, they can be a weeknight treat. If you can resist the temptation to eat too many of these bites, you can store the leftovers in an airtight container. My guess is that the leftovers will be gone the next day. 😉

What You Will Need for Ninja Foodi Pie Bites (Air Fryer Recipe)
Ingredients Needed for Pie Bites
- 14.1 oz roll out refrigerated pie crusts, left out for about 10 minutes on the counter so they will be easier to handle
- Your favorite pie crusts
Ingredients Needed for Icing
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Equipment Needed for Pie Bites
- Silicone pastry baking mat
- Rolling pin
- Butter knife or pizza cutter
- Can opener
- Teaspoon
- Air fryer liner or parchment paper
- Small flipping spatula or tongs (to get your pie bites out of the air fryer)
Equipment Needed for Icing
- Small mixing bowl
- Small whisk or small stirring spatula
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cooking Time Per Batch: 4 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, turn your Ninja Foodi insert 180 degrees if your Foodi does not air fry evenly, 3 to 4 minutes more at 350 degrees, until your pie crusts reach desired golden color

Ninja Foodi Pie Bites (Air Fryer Recipe)
Ingredients
Pie Bites
- 14.1 oz roll out refrigerated pie crusts left out for about 10 minutes on the counter so they will be easier to handle
- your favorite fruit pie filling
Icing
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Roll out your 14.1 oz roll out refrigerated pie crusts (left out for 10-15 minutes on the counter so they will be easier to handle) into a shape as close to a rectangle as you can get and cut into 12 square(ish) pieces.
- Put 1-2 teaspoons of your favorite fruit pie filling in each square.
- Preheat your 7- Quart Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi using the Air Crisp function to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for two minutes with a reusable liner or parchment paper liner in the insert.
- While your air fryer or Ninja Foodi is preheating, pinch the pie crust shut.
- Put 8 pie bites in your Ninja Foodi or air fryer for 4 minutes at 350 degrees.
- If your air fryer does not cook evenly, turn your insert 180 degrees (if using a Ninja Foodi) or use tongs to move your pie bites around (if using a traditional air fryer) and air fry for an additional 3-4 minutes at 350 degrees, until your pie crusts reach desired golden color.
- Repeat air frying time for the rest of the pie bites.
- Mix together your 1 tablespoon milk and 1/2 cup powdered sugar and drizzle over cooled pie bites.
