How to Make Easy Cherry Cobbler in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
If you have tried Cris’ Easy Crock Pot Peach Cobbler recipe, you know how easy and delicious this recipe is. When looking for ideas for new recipes, I could not believe our oversight in not trying that recipe with cherries! So, I fixed that right quick, and now you have this wonderful Easy Crock Pot Cherry Cobbler recipe.
When making this recipe, or any recipe that is baking in a crock pot, I recommend you know your crock pot. If you try to bake in a unit that cooks extremely hot, you will end up with burnt edges and a center that is not cooked through. I do not not recommend using a slow cooker that cooks extremely hot. You will only end up frustrated and disappointed. Another scenario is a slow cooker that cooks unevenly. Now this is a problem I can help you fix! Halfway through your cooking time, you will simply rotate the insert 180 degrees. Easy peasy! Then you will be able to enjoy this amazing dessert with your family and friends!
Psst…if you have some vanilla ice cream on hand, it works wonderfully with this recipe! There is just something about hot cobbler and ice cream that works so well together!
