How to Make Homestyle Pork Chops on a Stove Top
Aunt Lou here.
We absolutely love the Crock Pot Homestyle Pork Chops recipe. It is straight up comfort food. While we love cRockin’ up some yummy comfort food, we know that there are times when you forget to put the recipe on earlier in the day or you because…well…life, you need a recipe that can be made in under a half hour. So, now you have this same delicious recipe, but with direction to make it in one skillet on the stove top!
Full disclosure here…your gravy will look better than mine. “Why?” you ask…well, let me tell you a story. When I plan out my recipes for the week, I buy all the groceries at one time. Sounds sensible…right? Well, between the time I bought the groceries and the time I made this yummy recipe, my can of chicken broth apparently grew legs and walked off. We can’t find it…anywhere. So, I had to make do with what I had in the fridge…which was only about a cup’s worth. I usually have a spare carton of broth in the cabinet, but not this time. That’s how it goes sometimes though. However, from the crock pot recipe, I know that the gravy is very yummy with the full amount of broth. You are going to love this recipe!

I saw this recipe yesterday and wanted to try it out ASAP. Did not have any pork chops in freezer but I did have boneless skinless chicken thighs. So I decided to try these. SO GLAD I DID. Wow, they were delicious. The gravy was out of this world and chicken was so tender. I did add some onion powder. Hubby kept raving about how good they were. Now I can hardly wait to get some pork chops to try. Thank you so much for this recipe. So fast to prepare, cook and get on the table to eat.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this! We love it with chicken too! Thank you for taking the time to let us know you enjoyed it. It makes our day to hear our readers enjoy a recipe we posted!
