Brown and drain 3 lbs ground beef with 1/4 cup dried minced onions.
Evenly spread out the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 3.5 Quart Casserole Crock Pot or 6 Quart Crock Pot.
In a small mixing bowl, stir together 3 oz brown gravy mix and 2 1/2 cups water with a whisk or fork until well combined.
Top everything with 15 oz refrigerated biscuits (2 - 7.5 oz tubes).
Tightly place paper towels or a tea towel under the lid (making sure they/it will not touch the top of the biscuits) and cook for 5-6 hours on low or 2.5-3 hours on high, rotating your insert halfway through the cooking time, if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
