Cook your 16 oz pasta shells in a large pot to desired tenderness, drain and return shells to pot.
While your pasta is cooking, prepare your other ingredients so they can be put in as soon as the pasta is drained and returned to the pot.
Add 2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese, 2 cups shredded mild cheddar, 1 cup fresh grated parmesan, 2 cups shredded mozzarella, 8 oz block of muenster (cut into small cubes so it melts quickly), 1 cup milk and 1 tablespoon butter (cut into small pieces) to your pot and stir until well combined and cheeses have melted.
