2.5lbsboneless skinless chicken thighs(If you prefer chicken breast meat, you can just cut the chicken breasts into thigh size pieces to keep the same cooking time.)

Instructions
Put 2.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs in your 6 quart crock pot.
Add undrained 30 oz diced tomatoes , 1 small yellow onion (diced), 1 clove garlic (minced), 10 oz basil pesto and salt and pepper to taste on top of the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, rotating your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
Remove your chicken from the crock pot and shred with two forks.
Add your shredded chicken back into your sauce in your crock pot and mix well
Serve this recipe on its own or with prepared rotini, prepared rice or your favorite wraps or buns.
