I love me some Philly Cheesesteaks that you get from fast food restaurants. When I was pregnant with Addie I worked downtown and one of my favorite treats was when my co-workers would let me talk them in going to get philly cheesesteaks during lunch break. It was hot, my feet where swollen as big as balloons but this mama-to-be would walk several blocks for that delicious sandwich all summer.
Now that I work from home everyday, gone are the days that I can just pop over for one of those yummy sandwiches, so I decided to give it a try in my slow cooker and I am one happy mama!

I have made this recipe several times, and we really like it. Since I was born and raised in Philly this is not a true Philly cheese steak, but it sure is delicious and easy We serve it on hard Italian rolls wit or wit-out cheese ( Philly saying when you order in Philly) I love all of your recipes and also your videos. Keep up the good work and your great recipes.

Whew ! Sliced deli roast beef is soooo expensive up here in Vermont. Do you have a specific recipe you would suggest for creating that Italian Roast Beef so I could make this Cheesesteak recipe for cheaper? Thank you.
Love your site & emails. -Lynn
