Cris here.

A while back Miss Add and her cousins (Aunt Lou’s kiddos) were getting together after Miss Iyla’s birthday for a cousin sleepover and so we decided it would be fun to make Princess Crock Pot Candy (an adaptation of our Crock Pot Monster Munch) in honor of Miss Iyla!

We love making all kinds of candy in the slow cooker and since we were using my camper kitchen to whip this up, I LOVE how much it reduced the mess of making candy! We just threw the ingredients in the slow cooker, let it melt, mixed it up and then we let the kiddos decorate as much as they wanted!

Ryder was a good sport making Princess Crock Pot Candy for his little sister ๐Ÿ˜‰ We will have to make Monster Munch with him sometime soon!

Princess Crock Pot Candy Recipe Notes

  • I used a variety of sprinkles and candies from my local grocery store. Just about anything will work.
  • My slow cookerย only took 30 minutes to heat my morsels to the perfect temperature. But I have had slow cookers take an hour or two. It is best to test this recipe out for the first time when you have time to watch it. It is highly recommended you stir this every 30 minutes to know how close you are to having everything melted.
  • Looks can be deceiving. Make sure you mix things up really well every time you stir… a lot of times it is ready well before it looks like it should be.
  • I used a 7 quart non-stick slow cooker to whip this up, but we have used everything from a 4-6 quart before.
  • As with any of our recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
  • All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and shouldย always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
