Ingredients

Instructions

  • Pour butter into a browning slow cooker or skillet.
  • Salt and pepper chicken and brown on both sides.
  • In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients.
  • In the slow cooker, pour the mixture over top of the chicken and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until tender.
  • Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes on each side to crisp up skin (or air fry in Foodi/Air Fryer).

  1. My family doesn’t like thighs. Can you use breasts?

      We haven’t tried this recipe with chicken breasts, but it could work. The timing will be different since you are using a different cut of meat. So, you will need to watch it closely the first time you make it so you can adjust the cooking time as needed. If you give it a try, let us know how it goes!
