After our recent review of the Ninja Foodi, many Crock Posse members reached out to me and asked of our Electric Pressure Cooker Pork Chili Verde Soup recipe we were cooking in the review video. So we are sharing it today. This is our electric pressure cooker version on our Crock Pot Pork Chili Verde.  We have made it in our Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot and Crock Pot Express… did I mention we love this recipe?

Electric Pressure Cooker Pork Chili Verde Soup (Low Carb) Notes

  • We adapted our Crock Pot Pork Chili Verde Soup (Low Carb)(inspired by a recipe found in  Easy Low-Carb Slow Cooking) to make this Electric Pressure Cooker Pork Chili Verde Soup (Low Carb) Recipe.
  • We have made this soup in our 6 quart Instant Pot, Crock Pot Express and 6.5 quart Ninja Foodi, but you can make it in any 6-8 quart electric pressure cooker.
  • If you are looking for more low carb recipes, you can find them here: Low Carb Recipes
  • You can find more electric pressure cooker recipes in our Recipe Finder
  • Check out all our favorite recommendations for cookbooks, slow cookers and low carb essentials in our Amazon Influencer Shop.
  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
  • Finally, all electric pressure cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own electric pressure cooker and time adjusted as needed.

Thanks for getting back to me. We had it last night and it was great. Very easy to make and since there are only two of us we have leftovers for tonight, which makes this very economical.

In the ingrrdients you say 10 oz. Salsa vrrde – divided, but I don’t have see any reason in the directions. Why should it be divided, and how should it be used?

Is a pork shoulder steak sold by any other name? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a cut. I’ve definitely never cooked one. thanks. This recipe sounds delicious and I’m always looking for new things to try in my Instant pot.

      Hi Pat!
You usually find them near pork chops, they look similar but are much longer. Here is what wikipedia says about alternative names: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork_steak

Hope you can find them… they are one of my favorite ways to enjoy pork! We grill them all the time.

We love hearing from you, it totally makes our day! Please remember, our comment section is much like our dinner table... You don't have to like everything we serve up, but you do have to use your manners.
