How to Make Air Fryer Brownies in a Ninja Foodi
Can I Bake in an Air Fryer?
Cris here.
I am always tinkering around with my Air Fryer and Ninja Foodi to look for ways to use them instead of my oven for two main reasons. First, if I can bake in my air fryer, it keeps me from having to heat up my whole kitchen with my oven. And secondly, baking in my Ninja Foodi also gives me recipes I can make when I am on the road with our RV.
So when I figured out how to make box brownies in my air fryer, they instantly became one of our go-to air fryer desserts around here! I have tested both traditional boxed brownies AND low carb boxed brownies and both come out great. We have also tested in both our Ninja Foodi using the air crisp feature AND a traditional air fryer.
What Pans Can I Use in an Air Fryer?
You can use any oven safe pan that will fit in your Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi, however there are a lot of fun baking kits online that are made specifically to fit most units. Two of my favorite pans are the 7 inch spring-form pan and the cake barrel pan. Both of these pans can also be used in an electric pressure cooker as well.
Low Carb Boxed Brownie Mix
When I am looking for a low carb dessert and I don’t want to make it from scratch, this is my go-to low carb box brownies mix.
I love the flavor and texture of this brownie. It doesn’t taste like a fake brownie and it doesn’t have a sugar-free after-taste. However– as a word of caution– serving sizes are very important with these low carb desserts. I do not indulge in more than one at a time or they will upset my tummy.

I Have a ninja foodi digital air fryer not sure how to set it to bake brownies. Can any body help
While we haven’t tested in that particular unit, you can try following the instructions and settings we’ve provided. We’ve tested in both traditional and foodi air fryers, so the settings should work. As always, keep an eye on it when you try it for the first time just to be safe. If you give it a try, let us know how it goes!
Made these over the weekend and they were PERFECT! I don’t have an oven but was craving brownies. Used Betty Crocker boxed mix and two small oval baking dishes and they came out exactly how I grew up making them in the oven. THANK YOU!
Yay! That’s awesome! So glad this recipe could help you out!

As long as it fits it should work just fine. Enjoy!
These look SCRUMPTIOUS!! I could have 1 which would count as a carb in my diabetic diet. I have to look at the Carbohydrates (not net carbs) and that mix has 19g per serving…works for me!!😊😋😊😋
