How to Make Buttered Cabbage in a Slow Cooker
Cris here.
We absolutely love cabbage around here. I make our Instant Pot Cabbage all the time as an easy low carb side dish. We have shared our Old Fashioned Crock Pot Cabbage in the past and folks absolutely love it. However, we make this buttered cabbage way more often around here since going low carb, so we decided to share our crock pot version with you today.
Crock Pot Buttered Cabbage Notes:
- We recommend using a 6 quart slow cooker or casserole crock to make this dish and stirring the dish occasionally throughout cooking until the cabbage cooks down into the juices.
- If you are using a larger head of cabbage, you may want to add more chicken broth.
- All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

- As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
