Crock Pot Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe

Ingredients for Crock Pot Lemon Pepper Chicken
5-6 lb whole chicken
3 lemons-divided
2-3 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
How to Make Lemon Pepper Chicken in a Slow Cooker
- Pat chicken dry and place in slow cooker breast side up and squeeze 1/2 of a lemon over that side of the chicken and sprinkle liberally with lemon pepper seasoning.
- Flip chicken to breast side down and use other 1/2 of lemon and squeeze juice over the top and finish sprinkling with lemon pepper.
- Then slice the two remaining lemons and place on top of chicken.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours until chicken is tender.

- We used one of our favorite 6 quart slow cookers, but any 6 quart slow cooker should work just fine.
- Lemon pepper seasoning can be found in the spice aisle of your grocery store.
- We love this lemon juicer for juicing lemons for this recipe.

Can you use lemon juice instead of fresh lemon?
Hi Millie-
You certainly can, but the chicken will be super tender after cooking, so it will be really easy to serve either way. Enjoy!
Can you cut up the chicken before cooking for ease when cooking is done.
