Oh my goodness wha5 a huge hit for zero work!. I tried this tonight to go along with grilled burgers and sausages. I used frozen broccoli and cauliflower along with onion and red pepper because I had some already cut up that needed using. Was in a hurry so I just used garlic salt with parsley for seasoning and the butter, no Parmesan in the house today.

My neighbors raved over this recipe and the veggie allergic (lol) hubby begged to take home the rest along with the recipe. Thanks so much. Would never have done veggies in crockpot before but itโ€™s so hot in Florida in the summer.

Can you use dried parsley and if so how much ? I’m not a big fan of fresh parsley .

  3. Can I use fresh broccoli and cauliflower?

I haven’t tested it, but you should be able to. I would probably add 1/4 cup of broth to the bottom of the crock before adding everything else and keep a close eye on it because cooking times may be different. Let me know how it goes!

Sounds great, but can you use fresh onions?

Yep! I would just chop them pretty finely so they cook up as fast as the broccoli and cauliflower.
