I don’t know that I could pick just one, but anything chicken is my favorite. It’s a staple around here because it’s inexpensive. Crock Pot shredded chicken is going and so is the Chicken Pot Pie.
The dish that best reminds me of home would have to be “Mississippi Mud Cake”! Even though I have tried many times to replicate my Mom’s recipe I have yet to conquer it.
My grandmas chicken and noodles and mashed potatoes remind me of home! She uses real butter in her potatoes which is why they’re the best.
I think it would Pork Roast and Veggies.
Meatloaf
Pineapple upside down cake! My mom’s is the best. Or maybe her fried chicken. Heck, anything she made in her vintage cast iron skillets always came out mouth watering and memorable.

Southern style Potato Salad reminds me of family barbecues especially around the 4th oh July. I’m a southern gal through & through!

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and buttermilk biscuits speak home and love to me.
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, etc. are not really “Southern” cooking. My mother was half German and meatloaf was one of our favorite dinners when I was growing up in Pennsylvania. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes is no more Southern than I am.
Cajun chicken reminds me the most of home. Can’t wait to try it
