It all started with this fantastic Crock Pot Pork Roast and Veggies…
Then we loved this twist to our regular crock pot whole chicken.
Since then, I have been flipping through all the sections marking my MUST-TRY list.

Pot roast with potatos, carrots, and onions! Now that’s home!
Nothing says Southern like a really good pork roast and add the veggies with some gravy. Wow.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy always remind me of home. I’m so excited for this cookbook!

I am feeling at home with the cover picture of corn pudding. My Great Grandmother cooked like this so as you post recipes I am enjoying this cookbook more and more. Dinner this evening is your Cajun Chicken with my addition of comeback sauce. Thank you!

Pot roast with potatoes and carrots remind me of home.
Pot Roast & Veggies…..it reminds me of the roast my mom use to make for Sunday dinner after church. Since I’m a Carolina girl, we have it over white rice. Yum! Takes me back home to my mom’s kitchen every time!
Anything pork. Especially roast.
The meal that reminds me of home is tator tot casserole,corn on cob,fried green tomatoes and hoe cakes.
I grew up eating southern cooking. When my husband was in the Army we lived in Cajun country and I learned to love Cajun and Creole cooking as well. Mmmm so good!

Fried chicken
The meal that says home to me is roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans. and applesauce. All very yummy to the tummy.
Barbecue chicken always reminds me of my grandmother.
Cajun Chicken reminds me of my mom’s chicken.
Good ole fried chicken, cornbread, dressing and can’t forget the biscuits. Mmmmm, mmmmm, good!
