Aunt Lou here.

These Crock Pot Shredded Beef Sandwiches (Virginia Style) I found in Gooseberry Patch’s Slow Cooker to the Rescueย are so good my four-year-old had two, yes TWO, sandwiches at dinner! I’m just wondering what it is going to be like when he likes a recipe when he is a teenager?! (I’m sure moms of teenagers or moms who have had teenagers understand completely!)

I have no idea. That is what the original recipe called it, so I did the same.

Are you going to be doing any recipes using an Instant Pot or are you just going to stick with the Crock Pot. Just got an IP and am really interested in learning new ideas or how to convert recipes.

  3. Have you ever tried this recipe with a pork roast?
